Collge.
Blows. Yea, working kinda hard and being away at college means that I don't have a TV or my Playstation 2 to play games. I am almost done with FF9, which I am too far in to quit now. If I started Silent Hill 2, I would never complete it. So over the next couple weekends I am going to try to finish FF9, then I will start up Silent Hill 2 and post about the crazy scared adventures I have while playing in my dark ass room at night. Stay tuned!

Nycholis: Bioshock
BIOSCHOOOOOOOOOOOCK!! Anyway, I beat bioshock. I went the path of the good guy, saving all the ickle girlikins. I had my question answered about the shitty weaponry. Apparently you get to upgrade them about halfway through the game, and it had all the questions I had though about the game fixed via weapon upgrades.
What really made the game for me was the storyline. The plot twists were well done and the ending was pretty great too. All the added diaries and the "become a big daddy" sequence were also pretty sweet, and once you actually got to go through people's apartments and look at their things a lot of the subplot story lines tied up neatly.
One thing that really won the game for me was actually the things the npc's said and did. The way the splicers interacted, the houdini splicers actions, all of it tied into the desperation and rough times in rapture very very well.
I don't have much RAGGEEEE towards this game, except for fuck napalm splicers. soooo hard.

Shibbibidy - Final Fantasy VII - End
This was actually beaten a few weeks ago and I just never got around to posting about it til now. Also, no video. Sorry. Not really.
I ended up getting everyones final limit / final weapon as well as mastering 90% of my materia, killing all the weapons, and acquiring the master materia. And even though I said I wasn't going to, I did chocobo breeding and got all the goodies that come along with that. After all that sidequest stuff Sephiroth basically fell over without me even looking at the TV. True story. I turned around and played something else while KOTR melted him.
On another note, I've slowly been progressing through Pokemon. Only 3 badges right now and my group is approaching level 30. Right now I'm using Butterfree, Wartortle, Pikachu, Spearow, and Jigglypuff. Beedrill is in the group but I'm just using him as my Cut bitch until I can get a ghastly to replace him. I'm still toying with the idea of swapping Spearow and Butterfree out for another bird / psychic pokemon, but I don't know with what.
On another another note I started playing Final Fantasy Tactics as well, so I'll be splitting my time between the two of these. Tactics will probably take... a while though. I remember almost nothing about the story of this game which is good because it'll keep me interested. The only thing I recall about it is arguing with my friend and his cousin about whether or not Ramza was male or female. He definitely looks like a flat chested chick. Just sayin'...

Nycholis: Bioshock
Yes yea, I finally got started on Bioshock. And let me tell you, the story is richly fabulous, if a bit Ayn Rand-like. However, while the graphics are decent, even with everything turned up, the gameplay feels a bit...clunky.
While in theory, weaving plasmids and weapons isn't hard, the devotion to 1960's era weaponry is complete. Slow reload times, tiny clips, and the inability of most weapons to fire more than once rapidly hurts the fun of the game. I mean, yes REALISTICALLY, a 1960's six-shooter, tommygun, or shotgun wouldnt exactly be a M16, Rapture is supposed to be a tech haven. I clearly remember my first big daddy fight, and getting aced 7 or 8 times in a row while I waited for the sights to recenter after the first shot, or being unable to move and shoot at the same time is rage inducing. Now, you can move and shoot at the same time, but the only thing I've ever been able to hit are enemies who walk into the bullets.
Thats all for now, more later!
